Lauren Scogin, Administrator
Lauren attended the University of New Hampshire for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. She graduated with a Masters in Social Work and started her career working in long term care. She was previously the Director of Social Services at Durgin Pines for 10 years and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2015. Lauren enjoys artistic expression through painting and exploring the outdoors. Lauren and her husband have two children and enjoy spending time in Killington, VT.
Kathryn Desrosiers, RN BSN Director of Nurses
Kathryn has been with Durgin Pines since 2008 working as a Unit Aide and CNA. Kathryn graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2012 with her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and has progressed in her career as a Registered Nurse Manager of the Skilled Rehabilitation unit to the Director of Nurses.
Renee E. Girard, RN Admissions Coordinator
Renee is an experienced Registered Nurse who has worked in acute care settings, before joining us here at Durgin Pines. You can find Renee and her daughter surfing and enjoying the seacoast on the weekends!
Molly Stevens, LSW Director of Social Services
Molly recently graduated from the University of Southern Maine. She brings a positive, caring attitude and sense of humor to the team. Molly grew up extremely close to her grandparents which led her to her career at Durgin Pines.
Katherine Adams, LSW Social Worker
Katherine is a wonderful addition to our community! Katherines background is in a younger population, and she is excited to grow and develop in this arena here at Durgin Pines. A resident of Sanford, she can be found racing around keeping up with her children on the weekends.
Kathi Tokarz CDM, CFPP Food Services Director
Kathi is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and has been a key part of the Durgin Pines community since 2009. Kathi has raised her family here in Kittery and been a resident of the Seacoast for over twenty-five years.
Anne Veno, Registered Dietitian
Anne is a graduate from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics and an Associate’s Degree in Food Service Management and Dietetics. She is currently registered to practice dietetics through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Licensed in the state of Maine to practice. Anne enjoys golfing, running, and spending time with family and close friends.
Deborah Otis, Business Office Manager
Deborah has over 42 years of experience working in healthcare. She began her career in the hospital setting and moved into skilled nursing and long term care 25 years ago working in Accounts Receivable, Human Resources and Payroll Management. Deborah enjoys working with families and employees of Durgin Pines.
Pam Langley, Preschool Director
Pam has been working in the field of early childhood education for 30 years. Her philosophy is that children and adults grow and learn best when they are in an environment where they feel respected and safe. Pam believes that children learn through play, with adults nearby to facilitate. When Pam is not helping children grown and learn, she is spending time exploring in her VW van.
Elizabeth Clark, MS OTR, Rehabilitation Manager
Elizabeth has been an Occupational Therapist with this company and a leader of our therapy department for several years. Her scope of practice includes kinesiotaping, and she holds certification in the BIG program. Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, running and reading.
John Mizioch, Environmental Services Director
John joined our team with a wealth of Long Term Care and Hospitality experience under his belt. We appreciate Johns expertise and sense of humor. John is a resident of Sanford, where he lives with his family.
Shannon Doonan, CTRS Activity Director
Shannon graduated from the University of Southern Maine and received a BS in Therapeutic Recreation. She received her CTRS certification in 2008 and has been working in the Activities Department at Durgin Pines for over 9 years. Shannon received the Celebrating Excellence in Care Giving Award from the Maine Health Care Association in 2016 and has been highly involved with the Music and Memory Program. Shannon enjoys travelling, dancing, camping, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
